Challenges for Hazco

Although Pi’s distributor, Hazco, has been selling Pi’s range of controllers and sensors to the water industry in the Middle East, they have had some product and sales limitations.

The General Directorate of Water in the Eastern Province are responsible for the approval of instrumentation to be used in projects in Saudi Arabia. Pi’s analysers and controllers are approved for an initial period of 2 years.

Alan Burns of Pi said, “This is a great achievement for Pi and Hazco and our hard work has paid off. To be approved by the Saudi Arabian government shows they have faith in our products and the work we are doing over there. Although we have been working with Hazco for about 18 months now and have seen successes and orders coming in, it is exciting to think about what the future could hold for our Middle Eastern sales with this added accreditation”.
